The project will adapt modern
technologies for waste separation for
application in public outdoor environment in such
a way as to create conditions for
effective sanitation from today's demands
for cost-effective
management.And how
these requirements can coexist with
the aesthetic requirements of a
modern urban
environment.
A concept will be
created as a holistic approach that
provides sustainability in the long term. What generatesgarbage? How do we
take care of waste? Are deposit
systems a realistic option? These are questions that the project is expected
to answer.
The campaign Trash! The Musical was beaten in the race for the coveted golden lighthouse. According to rumors from the jury group the competition was very even and all contributions were very strong in their own way.

Trash! nominated for advertising award
The Golden lighthouse is Norrlands own advertising award and will this year be awarded for the sixth time. The idea of the award is to reward the use of good marketing in Norr- and Västerbotten. Nominated for the 2012 award is the campaign Trash! The Musical conducted in the spring of Umeå.

During the spring is the new clampdown on littering in central Umeå. Newly decorated trash cans, new sorting receptacles and ashtrays are some of the things Umeå municipality implements. In order to get the residents of Umeå to really pay attention to all the new things Niklas "RG" Gustafsson has been hired by Be Green Umeå.
